Role Description RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY APPLICANTS WITHOUT THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED The Real Estate Services (RES) Manager will oversee the RES department which is responsible for contracts and agreements, title, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and financial oversight. The RES Manager is expected to carry out responsibilities related to leadership of the RES team, delegation of required tasks, & continuous improvements related to operational management. Qualifications • Experience in the renewal energy industry is mandatory, • Experience with real estate contracts and agreements, title, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and financial oversight, • Understanding of land use laws, zoning regulations, and permitting processes, • Ability to collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders effectively, • Project management and organizational skills with the ability meet deadlines, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Understanding of GIS tools and mapping software is a plus, • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent amount of on-the-job experience Full Job Description Job Title: Real Estate Services (RES) Manager Team Leadership, Delegation, & Operational Management • Lead, mentor, and develop the Real Estate Services Team, overseeing daily personnel management (e.g., PTO, remote schedules, performance management, learning and career development)., • Act as the primary decision-maker for issues, resolving complex contract, title, payment, and stakeholder challenges efficiently and effectively., • Delegate tasks and oversee workflows using established SOPs, assigning responsibilities such as contract agreement creation, redlines, document ordering, and document assessments, while ensuring alignment with priorities and deadlines., • Establish and enforce team priorities, performance expectations, and service levels to ensure timely, accurate execution of all deliverables., • Serve as the primary liaison for the Real Estate Services department and internal stakeholders, addressing complex inquiries related to timing, payments, documents, deliverables, etc. Contract, Title, & Documentation Management • Oversee the preparation, review, and execution of contract agreements and related legal documents (e.g., amendments, extensions, assignments, terminations, etc.), ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency., • Direct the review and analysis of complex documentation (e.g., deeds, liens, easements, judgments, etc.), ensuring proper validation and identification of potential risks., • Lead the review of commitments, resolving issues and ensuring alignment with project requirements, legal standards, and risk mitigation practices., • Oversee management of contract templates, clause libraries, and documentation standards, coordinating updates with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to maintain legal compliance and best practices., • Ensure all contract records, stakeholder communications, and company documentation are properly maintained, organized, and audit-ready. Stakeholder Coordination, Financial Oversight, & Process Excellence • Oversee stakeholder coordination and contract execution workflows across internal teams, external legal partners, and third-party contacts to ensure timely delivery of agreements and supporting documents., • Provide oversight of stakeholder payment processes and tracking systems, ensuring accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining financial accountability., • Manage third-party relationships for title work, reporting, and document procurement, etc., ensuring deliverables meet timeline, quality, and compliance expectations., • Oversee tracking systems, reporting, and data integrity for contracts, payments, and documentation, ensuring visibility into performance and supporting informed decision-making., • Team Leadership & Performance: Lead team, manage performance, approve PTO, coach, and develop staff., • Task Delegation & Prioritization: Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor workload and deadlines., • Escalations & Decision-Making: Resolve issues, make final decisions on contracts, payments, and risks based on established past practices., • Contract Drafting & Processing: Support and oversee, provide guidance, review exceptions, approve non-standard terms., • Clause Library & Templates: Approve standards, oversee updates, ensure legal compliance., • Title Work & Documentation: Oversee cases, resolve issues, set direction., • Stakeholder Payments & Tracking: Ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, approve exceptions., • Project Tracking Portal Management: Ensure proper delegation, workflow efficiency, and accountability., • Third-Party Coordination: Oversee and manage key relationships, resolve escalations., • Cross-Functional Liaison: Handle inquiries, represent team in escalated discussions., • Document Review & Risk Identification: Final review of complex/high-risk items, decision authority based on established past practices., • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Set standards, ensure compliance, audit processes., • Process Improvement & SOPs: Identify improvements, implement changes, drive efficiency., • Internal/External Relationships: Build and maintain strategic relationships (legal, stakeholders, leadership). Salary: $75,000 - $100,000+* *Salary offers are comensurate with a candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Paid-Time-Off (PTO): 176 Hours of PTO*; 8 Hours of Birthday time off; 8 hours of self-designated personal holiday; 14 national holidays observed. *PTO prorated based upon month of hire. PTO awarded upon the satisfactory completion of a 60 day probationary period. Unpaid-Time-Off (UTO) can be utilized during the probabtion period to excuse absences. Insurance Offerings: Insurance coverage can begin on the 1st of the month following the first 30 days of employment. The Company pays for a basic Life and AD&D for Full-Time Employees. The Company pays for 80% of the monthly premium expense for Health plans. HSA, PPO, and HMO Health plans are offerred via FloridaBlue (BlueCross BlueShiled / BCBS). The Company does not pay for any portion of the monthly premium for the other insurance offerings, and employee pays 100% of the premium(s) expense via payroll deductions for Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Voluntary Spouse Life and AD&D, Voluntary Child Life and AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability. 401(K): Dollar for dollar match on up to 4% of employee's salary deferrals. Vesting Schedule is 33% after 1 year of service, 66% after 2 years of service and 100% vested after 3 years of service. Training and Continuous Improvement Reimbursements: $500 per calendar year available for Professional Development purposes.
