We source, finance, deliver, and manage exceptional vehicles across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and beyond. We are growing fast, our model is working, and the North East is one of our most important markets. We are now looking for the person who will run it. The Role This is a General Manager position — but if the word "manager" makes you think of someone who maintains what already exists, this is not the role for you. We have two talented junior salespeople in New Jersey and a market we know can be significantly larger. What we need is a leader who will build the operation, develop the team, and own the results. You will report directly to the CEO, operate with genuine autonomy, and be held to genuine accountability. There is no layer of middle management between you and the decisions that matter. What you will own: You will be responsible for the full commercial performance of MotorEnvy's North East market. That means driving revenue, managing the P&L, developing your sales team, and building the B2B partnerships — with exotic car clubs, concierge services, wealth managers, and high-net-worth networks — that will define how far this market can go. You will collaborate closely with our Florida team on marketing, campaigns, and strategy, and you will have a direct line to the CEO at all times. This is a role for someone who thinks about the business constantly — not because they have to, but because they cannot stop themselves. What You Will Do Lead and Develop the NJ Sales Team. You will be the day-to-day leader for two junior salespeople who need coaching, structure, and a standard to rise to. You will set the culture, model the behavior, and grow the team as the market grows. Drive Revenue and Own the P&L. You will be responsible for New Jersey's top-line revenue and bottom-line results. You will know the numbers cold, understand the levers, and make smart decisions about where to invest time and resources. Build B2B Partnerships. Some of the highest-leverage growth in this market will come from relationships — with luxury and exotic car clubs, private wealth managers, family offices, corporate travel programs, and lifestyle management services. You will identify, approach, and develop these partnerships personally. Manage the Client Experience. MotorEnvy's reputation is built on a concierge-level experience. You will ensure that every client interaction — from first inquiry to vehicle delivery to ongoing service — reflects that standard. Collaborate on Strategy. You will work closely with the CEO and the Florida team on marketing campaigns, inventory strategy, pricing, and market positioning. Your voice will matter in how the company grows. Who You Are You have spent meaningful time in the automotive world — at a luxury dealership, an independent brokerage, a leasing operation, or somewhere adjacent — and you have been quietly frustrated that the place you work does not run the way you know it could. You have the instincts, the relationships, and the drive. What you have been missing is the platform and the autonomy to use them fully. You do not need to be told what to do next. You see the opportunity, you make a plan, and you execute. You hold yourself to a high standard and you hold your team to one as well — not through pressure, but through example and expectation. You are comfortable with accountability because you are confident in your ability to deliver. You likely have: 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, sales management, or business development — with meaningful exposure to luxury, exotic, or premium segments A track record of growing revenue, building client relationships, or opening new channels — not just managing existing ones Experience leading or developing others, formally or informally An existing network in the New Jersey or tri-state area that you can activate quickly The financial literacy to understand a P&L and make decisions based on it A genuine passion for exceptional vehicles and the clients who love them What We Offer A real leadership role with real ownership.
