Job Description Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: On-site 5–6 days/week. Weekends required. Closed Mondays. Compensation: $65,000 base salary + monthly performance bonus (total compensation typically $80,000–$95,000+ for Elite performers) Monthly performance bonuses based on 4 metrics 1. Sales, 2. Labor control, 3. Inventory/food cost management and 4.Operational execution. About the Role Cugino’s Italian Deli & Pizzeria is hiring a hands-on Restaurant General Manager to be the on-site operator. The owner is remote and supports marketing and strategy — you run the store day-to-day, lead the team, and execute at a high level. This is not a “babysit the shift” role. We’re looking for a disciplined operator who can build a strong culture, protect food quality, and run tight controls while improving speed, accuracy, and customer experience. What You’ll Own • Full daily operations: opening/closing, shift execution, cleanliness, speed, and food quality, • Hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and accountability, • Labor management and productivity (smart scheduling, no fluff, regulate overtime), • Inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste reduction, • Cash handling, deposits, POS controls, comps/voids discipline, • Customer recovery: calm leadership, fast resolution, consistent standards, • Food safety and compliance (health department readiness) What Success Looks Like • Stable team culture with clear standards and zero drama, • Fast, accurate service (including delivery execution), • Tight cost control and clean systems (inventory/cash/accountability), • Consistent food quality and a customer experience that drives repeat business, • Store runs smoothly without the owner needing to be on-site Bonus & Growth Monthly performance bonus is based on operational and financial goals including: • Sales performance, • Labor control and scheduling discipline, • Inventory/waste management What We’re Looking For • 3+ years restaurant management or GM experience (high-volume preferred), • Proven ability to schedule, control labor, and run tight operations, • Strong leadership: can coach, correct, hire/fire, and enforce standards, • Calm under pressure, consistent, accountable, and detail-oriented, • Comfortable with autonomy — you are the on-site operator, • Able to work weekends and be on-site 5–6 days/week, • Food handler / ServSafe (or ability to obtain quickly) How to Apply Send your resume and a short note answering: 1.
