American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Feb 16, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in an acute care cardiac cath lab setting, • One suite/lab with an average of 1-3 cases per day, • Adult inpatient and outpatient cardiac cases, including CAD and AMI, • Procedures include left heart caths, stent placement, ICD and pacemaker insertions, • Uses Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS equipment and Epic EMR, • 8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, plus call requirements, • Call required 1-2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotating holidays, • Call team covers three nearby campuses with 30-minute home base response time, • Floating required to additional campuses as needed within Omaha, • Set daily schedule with some flexibility in self-scheduling call shiftsRequirements, • Minimum of 1 year recent cath lab experience including assisting with common cardiac procedures, • Active ARRT or RCIS certification required, • Current BLS certification (AHA), • Experience operating with Epic EMR and named cath lab equipment preferred, • Driver’s license required for consideration to confirm eligibility per 50 mile radius rule, • Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and may not be currently or recently employed by any CommonSpirit affiliate, • License required if applicableAdditional Information, • Duties include scrubbing to assist MDs, monitoring, documentation, and direct participation in cath lab procedures, • Travelers oriented to all campuses, with 1-3 days orientation per campus, • Supervisor support available in the lab, • Hospital-supplied scrubs required, • Artificial nails are prohibited for patient care staff, • Candidates must meet call response times and be prepared for rotating weekend and holiday call, • First-time travelers will be considered With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
