Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. A Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving a high school caseload in Stockton, CA. This direct hire, contract position runs from August 6, 2025, through June 3, 2026, with in-person hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver specialized instruction and support to high school students with special education needs., • Manage a high school caseload, including developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students., • Support students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) by applying effective behavioral and instructional strategies., • Valid Special Education teaching certification., • Experience working with high school students in special education settings., • Background supporting students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) is highly valued., • Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required. pensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34.
