Job Description Events and Communications Specialist Overview Events & Communications Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in marketing communications to support key activities across advertising, content development, publications, events, and partnerships. You’ll contribute to multi-channel campaigns, manage advertising placements, create and coordinate content, support event logistics and partnership initiatives, and help ensure brand consistency across all communications. Key Responsibilities Advertising Execution • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for digital and print advertisements, • Collaborate with graphic designers to develop andfinalizecreative assets, • Create trackable URLs throughBitlyto ensureaccuratecampaign tracking and performance measurement, • Track advertising deadlines andmaintainplacement schedules in Monday.com, • Create quarterly reports showing ad performance metrics, • Conduct audience research usingSparkToroto inform targeting and messaging strategies, • Draft short-form content such as blog posts, press releases, and editorial pieces, • Help manage content calendars and editorial planning, • Maintain and update company profiles and product listings in trade publication directories, • Addnew content, retire outdated materials, and ensure alignment with brand and messaging guidelines, • Use PR software tomaintainmedia lists and send press releases, • Update editorial calendars andmonitormedia coverage for opportunities, • Draft internal and external communications, including employee announcements, company updates, and leadership messages, • Support planning, setup, and execution for tradeshows, conferences, and activations, • Assistwithlogisticsincluding ordering, packing, shipping, and on-site event setup, • Travel to select events (approximately 1–2 times per quarter) to provide on-site support, • Coordinate content, promotion, and marketing efforts related to partnerships with associations, vendors, and co-promotional partners, • Supporting communications around special campaigns or initiatives, • Helpingidentifyopportunities to enhanceQosina’svisibility across key markets and partnerships Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, or content development, • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills across formats and audiences, • Strong project management and organizational abilities, • Experience coordinating with creative, events, and digital teams, • Familiarity with advertising processes, media relations, and publication management, • Understanding of brand consistency, messaging hierarchy, and editorial tone, • Bonus: Experience in eventlogistics, partnerships, or B2B communications, • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field About You You’re a hands-on communicator who balances creativity with operational precision.
