Job DescriptionBenefits: • competitive pay rate, • Bi-monthly pay Responsibilities • Design and deliver effective ESL lesson plans that cater to varying proficiency levels and learning styles., • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, • Support students in setting and achieving their language learning goals, • Design and deliver personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and goals, • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools to enhance language acquisition and retention, • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback, • Must have a college degree and experience teaching / tutoring English, • Minimum 1+ years of experience teaching English as a second language, • Experience working with diverse student populations, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to create and utilize multimedia resources for language instructionOther required skills:, • Empathetic and patient approach to teaching, understanding the challenges faced by language learners, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners, • Enthusiasm for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, • Excellent communication skills and a friendly personality, • Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle, • Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Location: Pearland, Friendswood and neighboring areas Job Type: Part-time, Contract Tutors are independent contractors and have the freedom to use their own teaching styles and methods.
