Sr. Project Engineer We are looking for a Sr. Project Engineer to join our Target Rock team! You will direct all engineering aspects of projects related to design, development, and supply of high-pressure valves for nuclear power applications or industrial valve applications. Ensures valves supplied meet customer purchase order and specification requirements as well as all industry related codes. You will provide support to planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, contracts, programs, and assembly departments, as required, including proposals needing engineering inputs, engineering changes (ECOs), vendor support, quality audits and dispositioning of non-conforming hardware to resolve any in process issues and/or maintain product flow. Location: East Farmingdale, NY Salary/hourly rate: $94,700 to $136,900 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. We Take Care of Our People Paid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive Culture * Your Challenge: \n • All Essential Functions listed on the Project Engineer (Energy Products) Job Description\n, • Assists the Engineering Manager in supporting Energy Products Sales bid and proposal activities.\n, • Assists the Engineering Manager in providing department personnel training.\n, • Participates and represents EP Project Engineering on cross functional teams.\n, • Assists the Engineering Manager in supervising day-to-day EP Project Engineering functions\n, • Review of specifications for compliance with proposed design.\n, • Preparation and release of design drawings and procedures.\n, • Preparation and review of design and qualification reports.\n, • Direction of qualification test programs.\n, • Interpretation of applicable customer specifications and industry codes (ASME BPVC, ASTM, ANSI, AMS, IEEE, etc.)\n, • Disposition of non-complying equipment in a timely manner.\n, • Resolution of assembly and test problems.\n, • Supports Energy Products Sales bid and proposal activities.\n, • Provide technical support for customers as required\n, • Ensure all project technical requirements are captured on the project's bill of material\n, • Ten (10) years of valve and/or power plant experience.\n, • Must be a US citizen\n, • Knowledge of valve products and industry requirements.\n, • Comprehensive knowledge of configuration management and design control\n, • Working knowledge of applicable ASME and other codes.\n, • Strong analytical and decision-making skills\n, • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Mathcad, and ANSYS\n, • Four (4) year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear)\n, • Master of Science degree in Engineering (preferred)\n, • Professional Engineering Registration (preferred)\n, • Power Plant Systems training\n, • Valve design and manufacturing\n Compliance Statement This position may require exposure to export-controlled information and subject to additional security screening.
