Job Description A Lead Music Teacher to serve as the vocalist and lead for our Rock, Smocks, and Animals class on Mondays at 9:30 AM. This is a semester-long class for young children (ages 14 months to 3 years) and their adults. Each week, the group meets a new animal and participates in engaging, hands-on activities. Every other week, there’s also an art project that ties in with the animal of the week. Job Description This part-time, seasonal position will serve as teaching artist in the Chautauqua Arts Education Young Playwrights Project (YPP). This program is a 3-phase program. Phase 1 involves school visits where the YPP Teaching Artists present an assembly followed by an in-class lesson for each classroom at each participating school that teaches 3rd and 4th grade students how to write a play. Job Description About Us Reflex is a leading activewear company behind 90 Degree by Reflex, Yogalicious, and Reflex, sold across major retailers nationwide. We are expanding into licensed entertainment IP activewear and building a creative team to support a diverse portfolio of character-driven properties. We’re seeking a Junior Activewear Fashion/Graphic Designer with a whimsical, expressive, character-focused design voice to support our Licensed Design Team. This role is ideal for a junior-level designer who enjoys creating charming, friendly, illustrative graphics and can execute clean, accurate files for apparel applications. About the Role You will support the Senior Designer(s) responsible for character-driven, whimsical, expressive franchise aesthetics. Your day-to-day work will focus heavily on: • artwork clean-up and refinement, • precise file preparation, • recolors, resizes, placements, and motif adjustments, • building repeats and allover patterns, • executing senior direction into polished, submission-ready files, • managing multi-round revision cycles, • This is a detail-oriented, production-focused design role in a fast-moving entertainment licensing workflow. What You’ll Do • Create and refine whimsical, character-driven graphics under senior creative direction, • Build clean, structured Illustrator files with proper layers, groups, masks, and naming conventions, • Execute recolors, variants, placements, and scaling adjustments, • Support development of allover prints, illustrated motifs, icons, and small character elements, • Prepare artwork for licensor submissions with thumbnails, callouts, application notes, and metadata, • Interpret and apply style guides, expression sheets, and usage rules across character-driven properties, • Implement revision requests quickly and accurately through multiple rounds, • Maintain rigorous file hygiene, version control, and organization, • Deliver application-ready artwork for activewear silhouettes to internal production teams, • Collaborate closely with the Licensing Coordinator to ensure compliance with approval requirements Who You Are • A junior designer whose natural style leans whimsical, expressive, cute, charming, and illustrated, • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator (required) and Photoshop (preferred), • Able to maintain character consistency through expression, proportion, and line quality, • Comfortable working through high-volume revision cycles, • Skilled in vector cleanup, pattern building, recolors, color matching, and adjustments, • Detail-oriented with strong organizational instincts and version control discipline, • Excited to support a senior designer and grow within a structured licensing workflow, • Experienced in apparel graphics (activewear experience is a plus), • Curious about entertainment IP, characters, and narrative-driven design, • Experience with entertainment licensing is a plus but not required at the junior level. As we build this new creative division, we are seeking senior designers whose design language brings something distinctive, commercially compelling, and adaptable across multiple IP aesthetics. About the Role This Senior Activewear Fashion Designer role is designed for candidates with broad creative range across character-driven, graphic-driven, and franchise-driven entertainment properties. You will help interpret a variety of visual languages, whether whimsical, bold, adventurous, tech-forward, or expressive, and translate them into graphics, placements, icons, patterns, and themed collections for activewear silhouettes. Rather than fitting a single predefined style lane, this posting invites you to show us your natural creative voice and how it can apply to a wide array of entertainment IP. What You’ll Do • Lead the design of graphics and collections for multiple entertainment IPs with differing tones and visual identities, • Adapt your style across whimsical, bold, heroic, expressive, stylized, or illustrative aesthetics depending on franchise needs, • Design placement graphics, allover prints, engineered artwork, motifs, icons, and typographic treatments for activewear, • Interpret and apply style guides, character guidelines, pose libraries, and usage rules across a range of properties, • Build cohesive capsule collections grounded in character stories, symbols, or themes, • Prepare licensor-ready artwork with clear callouts, annotations, and application notes, • Collaborate with Licensing Coordination to ensure accuracy through multi-step approval workflows, • Work closely with production and development teams using existing activewear silhouettes, • Establish creative standards for new IP as it enters the portfolio, • Mentor junior designers supporting multi-franchise workflow Who You Are • A senior designer with range; comfortable moving across different character tones, graphic styles, and storytelling modes, • Strong in illustration, vector graphics, composition, or a unique blend of both, • Able to shift between soft/expressive art, bold/action graphics, or thematic iconography depending on the project, • Adept at designing graphics specifically for apparel, ideally activewear, • Experienced developing artwork under structured licensor approval systems with multi-round feedback, • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, • Organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing multiple concurrent design tracks, • Equally strong presenting work as you are executing it, • Experience with global entertainment licensors is strongly preferred..
