Job Description Middle Collegiate Church Nursery Care Provider Purpose: The Nursery Care Provider is a Contractor who staffs the Middle Church “Wee Care” program during Sunday worship celebrations and other programming as needed. Under the direct supervision of the Minister for Care and Congregational Life, the Nursery Care Provider is a part of our youth education team and is responsible for the care and safety of infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. The Nursery Care Provider works in tandem with Middle Church staff, parents and guardians to support programs that bridge the vision of Middle Church to its youngest members. Skills required: The Nursery Care Provider must have a minimum of three years' experience working with infants and children up to the age of five. They must love and respect children. Three references must be provided and passing a background check is essential. Fluency in English is a must and having some ability in Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus. The Nursery Care Provider must be an excellent communicator, and have proven experience working in a multicultural, multiethnic community that is fully welcoming to all genders and sexualities. They must have imagination, patience and an even temperament to assist and care for children.
