Job Description Job Description Job Title: Banquet Server Reports To: Director of Events/ Chief Operating Officer & President Locations: The Carriage House and Gourmet Italian Cuisine Restaurant To be eligible for the interview process, must have the following below: -WEEKEND AVAILABILITY (FRIDAYS-SUNDAYS) -MUST HAVE BUFFET & SIT DOWN EXPERIENCE -MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 YEAR SERVING EXPERIENCE We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team both at The Carriage House and the Gourmet Italian Cuisine Restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the culinary team and event coordinators to deliver high-quality food service and maintain guest relations. Duties • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations., • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner., • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event., • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly., • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events., • Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling guidelines., • Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred, particularly in a banquet or hotel setting., • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism., • Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus., • A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed., • Reliable transportation, • Open availability Friday, Saturday, Sunday and/or weekday availability AM & PM, • Required to work at the Carriage House and Gourmet Italian Cuisine restaurant The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. • Ability to lift and carry: Ability to lift 50-75 pounds., • Must have: 1-2 year experience in serving, • Standing for extended periods: Banquet servers need to be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $5.61 - $5.62 per hour Expected hours: 8-30 hrs per week Shift: • Day shift, • Evening shift, • Morning shift, • Night shift Work Location: In person Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
