This role manages assigned product categories to meet customer and company objectives. This includes product replenishment necessary to conduct business as well as negotiations with suppliers to obtain merchandise at appropriate prices, deliveries, and quantities. This role is responsible for product quality for all suppliers. This position also develops and enhances strategic alliances with all key suppliers, works with suppliers to develop effective merchandising programs, and ensures all suppliers achieve and maintain targeted fill rates with the shortest possible lead times.
