Job Description Overview We are an upscale, high-energy restaurant known for exceptional dining experiences built on quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. We seek an experienced and driven General Manager to lead daily operations, develop strong teams, and uphold brand standards that define excellence in guest service and financial performance. The ideal leader blends operational discipline, team mentorship, and a passion for memorable guest experiences, ensuring seamless execution across service, product quality, cost management, and culture. HIGH-PRIORITY REQUIREMENTS • Must have excellent fine dining experience in a chef-driven restaurant., • Sommelier and wine program expertise is a strong plus., • We are seeking the best of the best. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Operations • Oversee daily floor operations with a visible, guest-facing presence and flawless service execution., • Lead, mentor, and develop management and hourly teams to drive engagement, accountability, and results., • Deliver on operational goals, including sales growth, guest satisfaction, and profitability., • Own full P and L performance, aligning revenue and cost targets with weekly action plans., • Review sales, labor, COGS, and controllables weekly and implement improvements based on trends., • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing team members who model our standards., • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews and build a leadership bench., • Ensure a consistently excellent guest experience through proactive service management., • Handle feedback and recovery with urgency and manage reputation across channels., • Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and regulatory requirements., • Maintain current staff certifications, including TABC and Food Handler., • 3 to 5 years of full-service restaurant management experience; upscale casual or fine dining strongly preferred., • Proven record leading teams and managing operations and financials in high-volume environments., • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality best practices., • Demonstrated success in fine dining and chef-driven concepts; wine and sommelier knowledge is a plus., • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills., • Proficiency with POS, scheduling, and back office systems such as Aloha, HotSchedules, and OpenTable., • Hands-on, proactive, and visible floor leadership., • Professional, approachable, and passionate about hospitality., • High ownership mindset with strong follow-through and attention to detail., • Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with elevated guest expectations., • Competitive base salary, • Performance-based bonus potential, • PTO and holiday flexibility Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77057 (Required) Work Location: In person Company DescriptionWe are a full-service, event-driven business with 100+ employees and a large seasonal workforce.
