Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/06/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 6, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • CV Imaging department setting within an acute care hospital, • Tuesday through Saturday PM shift, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, • 13-week contract, • May be required to float to a nearby sister hospitalRequirements, • ARRT RT(R) and ARRT RT(CT) certifications required, • Current BLS certification required, • NJ State X-Ray License (NJDEP) required — NJ license required if applicable, • High school diploma or GED required, • Completion of an accredited Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or college-based Radiography program required, • Experience with Epic EMR preferred, • Must be able to perform venipuncture and operate power injectors, • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleAdditional Information, • Performs CT scanning procedures including emergent cases such as Code Grey, Trauma, and Partial Trauma protocols, • Acquires, processes, and verifies images in PACS/RIS per established protocol, with immediate transmission required for Code Grey cases, • Communicates directly with the radiologist when Code Grey images are transmitted and reports any unusual patient findings, • Assesses patients for contrast tolerance, screens for allergies and medication incompatibilities, and monitors patients before and after contrast injections, • Coordinates with nursing staff and radiologists regarding any sudden changes in patient condition, • When assigned as Point, triages and coordinates emergent and unscheduled procedures, assigns staff, and maintains efficient workflow, • Maintains CT scanning rooms including stocking contrast media, biopsy/drainage supplies, and linens, • Performs routine cleaning of CT gantry, table, and peripheral equipment after each use, • Maintains QA/QC requirements per daily, monthly, and ACR specifications With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
