Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Infusion, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 05/19/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse (Infusion / Oncology) Location: Upland, CA 91786 Schedule & Staffing • Shift: Day shift – 4x10 hours, • Active California RN license, • BSN – Required, • Minimum 3 years oncology/infusion experience, • BLS (AHA) – Required, • Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC) – Required, • Strong proficiency with:, • Chemotherapy administration (IV push, continuous, oral), • Cytotoxic spill management, • Port and central line access/care, • Infusion pumps, • PICC line care, • Phlebotomy, • Provide comprehensive oncology infusion nursing care to adult patients, • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions, • Safely manage and monitor:, • IV push and continuous chemotherapy, • Oral chemotherapy regimens, • Hydration and multivitamin infusions, • Access, manage, and care for:, • Implanted ports, • Central lines and PICCs, • Monitor labs and recognize/report abnormal values, • Assess and manage treatment‑related side effects, including:, • Nausea/vomiting, • Neuropathy, • Fatigue, • Skin and mucous membrane changes, • Edema, • Identify and respond to oncologic emergencies, such as:, • Tumor lysis syndrome, • Anaphylaxis, • Extravasation injuries, • Sepsis, • Spinal cord compression, • Administer medications including:, • Antiemetics, • Antitumor agents, • Antibiotics, • Corticosteroids, • Neupogen, • Hormonal therapies, • IV push narcotics, • Provide patient and family education and psychosocial support, • Implement neutropenic precautions and infection‑control standards, • Collaborate closely with pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services, • Accurately document all care using Epic talent to support quality patient care.
