Job DescriptionBenefits/Perks • Great small business work environment Position Overview The Patient Service Representative (PSR) plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, patient registration, insurance verification, and coordinating patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Desk • Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner, • Manage patient flow and communicate wait times effectively, • Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experienceRegistration & Insurance, • Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility, • Accurately enter patient information into EMR (Experity preferred), • Explain visit costs, co-pays, and billing policiesPayments & Administration, • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay balances, • Maintain daily cash drawer and ensure accurate reconciliation, • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries, • Scan and upload documents into patient recordsCompliance & Support, • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality, • Support clinical team with administrative needs, • Ensure front desk area is organized and efficientQualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent • 1+ year of customer service, front desk, or administrative experience, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPreferred, • Experience in urgent care, medical office, or healthcare setting, • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology, • Experience with EMR systems (Experity is a plus), • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
