Job Description Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description The Lab Technician conducts routine and advanced analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation to assess parameters such as pH, moisture, temperature, and microbiological safety. This role involves maintaining precise quality documentation in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and HACCP standards, while supporting cross-functional investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses using standard lab equipment to measure pH, moisture, temperature, weight, and microbiological safety., • Maintain accurate records of test results and quality documentation in accordance with GMP, SOPs, and HACCP standards., • Support cross-functional investigations and continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory processes., • Ability to conduct routine and advanced analytical testing using laboratory instruments., • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of test results., • Associate's degree required., • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy., • Food science is strongly preferred. The role involves working in a laboratory setting, utilizing standard lab equipment to perform analytical tests. The environment requires adherence to quality and safety standards, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmwood Park, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
