Job Title: Driver Reports To: CRS Dispatcher & Operations Team FLSA Status: Exempt (if salaried); non-exempt (if hourly) Department: Operations Summary: Completes assigned daily tasks for deliveries and pick-ups of furniture, technology, and contents and assists movers by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Operates company trucks in a professional, safe and courteous manner.* 2. Delivers equipment (dollies, crates, etc.) to clients’ origin location pre-move. 3. Drives truck to location and assists movers in packing and loading truck.* 4. Must protect all items loaded on truck to minimize damage with cloth pads, proper placement & strapping technique. 5. At destination, ensures delivery and placement of items that were moved in accordance with project scope. Reports to foreman or project manager if applicable.* 6. Ensures delivery trucks are clean and in good working condition.* 7. Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.* 8. Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.* 9. Assists the warehouse manager and movers to include lifting and carrying cartons and contents and placing them on appropriate shelves in warehouse.* 10. Responsible for getting appropriate paperwork (examples: BOLs, Pros) signed and returned to Dispatch/Operations upon return to warehouse* (unless Project Manager or Foreman on job, in which case they can be responsible for paperwork completion and return) 11.
