Job Description Administrative Assistant / Accounting Clerk Hauppauge New York – Onsite Pay open to discussion - $50-60k + per year Great Benefits Direct Hire Position Objective We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounting Assistant to support administrative, accounting, and office operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across company procedures. Main Duties & Responsibilities Basic Accounting Support • Record general ledger and primary bookkeeping entries, • Manage, verify, and archive sales and purchase invoices, • Monitor customer and supplier payment deadlines, • Assist with bank transaction reviews and payment preparation, • Organize and archive administrative documentation in both digital and paper formats, • Manage inbound and outbound correspondence (email, mail, certified email/PEC), • Prepare basic administrative documents, reports, and statistical summaries, • Manage office supply inventory and purchasing, • Provide administrative support for after-sales activities, including service and spare parts Required Skills & Qualifications • Prior experience (even minimal) in administrative, clerical, or accounting-related roles, • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and bookkeeping, • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, • Experience using at least one ERP or management system (company-specific system a plus), • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Interviews are happening NOW – send resume to Company DescriptionKelly helps companies recruit and manage skilled workers and helps job seekers find great work in industries such as accounting and finance, education, engineering, government, manufacturing and production, technology, and more.
