    Position & Perks: The HR Manager oversees Employee Relations issues and trends in their assigned region. The HR Manager acts as strategic partner to provide practical, consistent, and proactive support to Area Directors, Managers, and Employees to improve culture and legal compliance. Responsibilities: • Partner with Operations, Management, and HR support team to provide direction and assistance for field operations in the day-to-day human resources administration in accordance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws., • Accountable for oversight and management of all Employee Relations for their designated market; conduct or direct investigations as needed resulting from both formal and informal internal / external complaints, • Ownership for their region’s EthicsPoint cases; respond to all complaints, grievances, policy resolution issues, discipline, etc. in a timely manner to recommend outcomes and ensure proper documentation for records., • Draft clear, defensible investigation summaries and recommendations aligned with company precedent, • Independently assess investigation scope, credibility, risk level, and escalation thresholds; determine when to involve Legal or senior HR leadership, • Oversee the other HR Manager’s region’s issues as needed when they are out on PTO, • Analyze Employee Relations data, EthicsPoint trends, and repeat risk indicators to inform policy, training, and Operational and cultural changes; Use data to proactively reduce ER volume and compliance exposure within assigned region, • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures., • Partner with Director of HR to formulate and implement strategies for employee engagement, recognition, retention, and culture, • Maintain and coordinate all legal files and document coordination for suits and claims for the geographical area of responsibility., • Presents training to concept Managers and others on employee relations and fair employment practices., • Proactively identify risks and ensure the department and company is operating in compliance with federal and state laws., • Maintain consistency and alignment with Operations in the areas of performance management and development with restaurant Management team, outline growth and development opportunities in partnership with Learning and Development team., • Collaborate with Benefits department to mitigate risk and ensure a safe work environment regarding accommodations, Fitness for Duty, and return to work clearance., • May be required to represent company during DOL investigations, legal cases, or to advise concept personnel., • Coordinates or assists at various company outings and cultural initiatives as needed. Qualifications: • Proven ability to manage high-volume Employee Relations casework, including multiple concurrent investigations, tight timelines, and fast-paced decision-making, • Demonstrated experience balancing legal risk, operational realities, and organizational culture in a frontline hourly environment, including support of operations in complex jurisdictions (e.g., NYC, NJ, multi-state compliance environments), • Expert knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them practically and consistently in real-world operational settings, • Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and professionalism, with the ability to remain grounded and effective during sensitive, high-conflict, or high-pressure situations, • Coach and influence leaders through difficult decisions, not just deliver outcomes, while maintaining credibility and alignment with company priorities, • Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization, • Highly organized, results-oriented, and resourceful, with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and process-improvement capabilities, and a strong sense of urgency Ability to: • Manage conflict and promote a collaborative, professional work environment, • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands, demonstrating strong follow-through, sound judgment, and attention to detail, • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters, • Think strategically while demonstrating practical leadership and execution skills, • Work effectively with cross-functional partners, co-workers, and management, • Work flexible and non-traditional hours as business needs require, • Travel intermittently to local restaurants, area meetings, and special projects, including overnight travel approximately 20–30% annually

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a Manager, Social Partnerships to lead social strategy and brand collaborations and to elevate how the brand shows up in culture. This role will shape Van Leeuwen's social presence and partnership strategy, driving cultural relevance, community engagement, and brand growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative marketer with a strong cultural POV who can turn social content and partnerships into meaningful brand moments. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, and growth - owning how Van Leeuwen shows up in social, partnerships, and cultural conversations. This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office three days a week. Job Responsibilities Social Strategy Brand Voice • Develop and execute Van Leeuwen's social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels, • Evolve and protect the brand's social voice, ensuring consistency across content, • Translate brand initiatives, product launches, and campaigns into compelling social narratives, • Identify cultural moments and trends where Van Leeuwen can authentically participate, • Actively engage with relevant brands, creators, and cultural moments across social platforms, building relationships and increasing Van Leeuwen's visibility and relevance, • Collaborate with PR and creative to create integrated brand moments that extend beyond social Brand Partnerships Collaborations • Develop, and manage strategic brand partnerships and collaborations, • Own partnership ideation and execution from concept to launch, • Build a pipeline of culturally relevant collaborations that drive brand buzz and business impact Creator, Influencer Community Strategy • Develop and manage a creator and influencer strategy, • Own day-to-day community engagement across social platforms, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions with on-brand voice while managing and scheduling posting of content on Van Leeuwen's social channels, • Cultivate community engagement initiatives like our Insider Program, Ambassador Program and Broadcast Channel, that build an active, loyal fan base and turn highly engaged followers into organic advocates for the brand, • Surface insights, trends, and audience feedback to inform content and campaigns to in-house team to ensure content performs with high engagement E-mail • Create email calendar and develop strategies for each email channel, • Work with the in-house designer to design email content Customer engagement • Manage customer interactions on social platforms with strict response timing, while collaborating with key stakeholders to escalate trending and large scale scenarios when appropriate, • Co-manage a Cx team member with the VP of Marketing that will help support in this capacity Analytics, Reporting Research • Utilize social listening tools and leverage analytics to review performance data on social media and digital platforms, • Develop KPIs for each platform, with a clear path to achieve and track against key benchmarks Job Requirements • 6 to 8 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, partnerships, or related fields, • Proven experience developing social strategies and executing brand collaborations, • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate insights into compelling content and partnerships, • Excellent communication and project management skills, • Deep understanding of internet culture, trends, and creator ecosystems, • Strong creative POV, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, • Passion for food, culture, and consumer brand, • Must be comfortable working in-store scoop shifts as needed, while adhering to DOH guidelines Compensation + Benefits $75,000 - 105,000 annual compensation depending on experience, paid weekly Eligible for annual 10% bonus • Employee Scoop Card (Enjoy Ice Cream from any of our scoop shops nationwide), • Medical, Dental + Vision Insurance with 70% Employer Contribution, • 401k with up to 4% Employer Match, • Cell Phone Reimbursement Plan, • Wellness Reimbursement Plan, • Flexible Time Off, • Paid Sick Time, • Yearly Performance Reviews Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
