Job DescriptionWarehouse Worker – 2nd Shift • Shift: 2nd Shift (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM), • Pay: $16–$18/hr Job Duties: • Operate machinery and assist on production lines, • Assemble, package, and inspect products for quality, • Maintain steady workflow to meet production goals, • Follow safety and quality standards at all times, • Keep work area clean and organized Requirements: • Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred, • Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks, • Strong attention to detail, • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, • Reliable and team-oriented Responsibilities • Complete assigned production jobs, tasks, and projects throughout the warehouse in areas such as cutting, receiving, shipping, and work orders., • Move pipe and copper tubing to designated pick locations in preparation for orders., • Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently according to work orders and instructions., • Cover copper tubing and pipe with protective tubing before processing for shipment., • Bar code and label pipe correctly to ensure proper identification and tracking., • Bundle and wrap the pipe securely to maintain product integrity during handling and transport., • Unload incoming trucks as needed, ensuring materials are handled safely and placed in the correct locations., • Load outbound shipments securely, following shipping instructions and safety guidelines., • Use hand tools and basic equipment to support production, assembly, packaging, and labeling activities. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple warehouse and production functions., • Ability to learn new tasks quickly, typically within 1–3 weeks of training., • Comfort working with copper tubing and pipe, including cutting, bundling, and wrapping., • Strong attention to detail when bar coding, labeling, and completing cut sheets., • Reliability and consistency in following work orders and safety procedures.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
