Job Description IT Support Analyst Location: Syracuse, NY (Firestone Dr Facility) Pay Range: $27–$33 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm Company: River Valley Holdings Help Support a Growing, Multi-Site IT Environment River Valley Holdings is expanding, and we’re looking for an adaptable, service-focused IT Support Analyst to support end-users across multiple facilities in Syracuse. You’ll work hands-on with a mix of desktop support, server and network administration, Microsoft environments, and end-user engagement. This role is full-time, on-site and requires travel between our Syracuse-based locations. The IT Support Analyst reports to the Director of IT. What You’ll Do As the IT Support Analyst, you’ll help keep our technology running smoothly by: Supporting End-Users • Provide first-level support and troubleshoot devices, software, and access issues, • Configure workstations, software deployments, user accounts, and access permissions, • Train and assist users at all experience levels with patience and clarity Managing Desktop & System Administration • Install, configure, and update desktop applications, operating systems, and Microsoft tools, • Manage Windows updates, Exchange administration, file shares, and access controls, • Assist with documentation, ticketing systems, and ongoing improvement of support processes Contributing to Network & Server Reliability • Support both physical and virtual server environments including maintenance and backup processes, • Assist with Active Directory administration and Group Policy changes, • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues and support access point management Strengthening Cybersecurity & Compliance • Support and reinforce security standards, updates, and systems hardening, • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and troubleshooting workflows, • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed Why You’ll Love Working With Us • Hands-on variety — no day is the same, • Growing environment with room to advance, • Strong teamwork culture with leadership that supports learning and development, • Ability to make a direct impact on system reliability, adoption, and user experience What We’re Looking For • Experience providing IT support for end-users in a business environment, • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, Microsoft 365/Exchange, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and workstation configuration, • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to research, diagnose, and resolve issues independently, • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users, • Positive attitude, resourcefulness, professionalism, and customer-focused mindset, • Ability to stand, move equipment, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel between Syracuse sites Benefits • Full health, dental, and life insurance, • Short- & long-term disability coverage, • Vacation and personal paid time off, • 401(k) with company match, • Employee Purchase Program, • Employee Assistance Program, • Opportunities for career growth across a multi-site organization About Us River Valley Holdings is a family-owned food distribution company headquartered in Syracuse, NY.
