We are seeking a developed senior leader to apply their experience to our continued pursuit of “Operational Excellence” to ensure Great Food served Fast, Friendly, and Accurately. You’ll be leading, communicating with, tracking, and coaching all Team Members and Leaders on achieving and exceeding service goals during opening and closing shifts. This position is responsible for shift management in an operational role, while also overseeing and managing back-of-house production operations as a whole. We are looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and help others succeed. Descriptions of shift management and Assistant Director of Production/Kitchen responsibilities are listed below. Pay Type: $26.00/hr + Additional Incentives Required for Consideration: • Requires 1-2 years of managerial experience, • Requires Full-Time / Open Availability (ability to be scheduled 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM / Monday - Saturday), • Requires Full-Time (40-45 hours), • Insurance Coverage (Health, Vision, and Dental), • 80 hours of accrued PTO, • Uniform Stipend: $250 per year, • Access to scholarship up to $2,500 per year, • Sundays Off, • Flexible Hours, • Employee Meals, • Opportunities for Advancement and Leadership Skill Development, • Experience as a leader, with a proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments, and work as part of a team, • Basic computer and iPad competency, • Ability to input data and interpret the P/L, • Take care of employee performance and policy/procedure violations and bring to the attention of the Director, • Inputs data daily into the P/L system, and interprets the data to make adjustments to the Operations of the restaurant, • Works with leadership team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels, • Achieves strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly objectives and tasks and reviewing reports, • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees and leaders with respect while providing them with direction and feedback, • Makes changes in the restaurant to improve our speed of service and accuracy scores, • Serves as a subject matter expert to leadership for ongoing hospitality and production support, • Responsible for inventory and facilities management, • Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store, • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items, • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, • Support and assist the leadership of Director of Production in the operations and growth of the kitchen, • Hold all BOH operations to the Chick-fil-A standard in all processes, procedures, and policies, • Establish a strong culture of food safety in every area and all dayparts for BOH, • Maintain a clean environment by evaluating and holding BOH leaders accountable for the execution of daily, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks, • Ensure systems are working correctly (forecasting, LEAN, rotation, thaw, fileting, etc.), • Maintain a high standard for food quality while preventing unnecessary food waste, • Oversee weekly scheduling and Labor/Productivity numbers, • Oversee SAFE Daily Critical (AM/PM), ERQA’s (daily), kitchen CEM’s, • Oversee the responsibilities of BOH leader’s and ensure they are being finished promptly, accurately, and correctly., • Coordinate with plans for special events, promotions, and caterings, • Coordinate with training leaders about training plans and focuses, • Schedule growth time for store improvement by researching, networking, and planning, • Encouraging team member to lead themselves; Not always giving the answer, but asking the right questions and guide your others towards a new way of thinking, • Assist managers in engaging to develop A-Grade team members, • Handling Personnel (Call-outs, time punch issues, hiring), • Strong desire to serve others, • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify areas of improvement and implement changes, • Ability to build personal connections with the team, • Understand the expectation of Chick-fil-A customer service standards and operational excellence, • Self-leader committed to personal growth, • Ability to multitask while working at a quick, yet efficient, and thorough pace, • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic, • Contagious positive attitude, • Willingness to step into any operational role, • Customer-service oriented
