Jeweller jobs in New York

Job Description About Nivoda Nivoda is a fast-growing B2B marketplace transforming the global diamond and gemstone industry. We connect thousands of suppliers and retailers across 100+ countries, processing $300M+ in annual transactions - and we're just getting started. The gemstone industry is a $350 billion opportunity, and we're building the infrastructure to unlock it. We move fast, hire exceptional people, and give them real ownership over meaningful work. If you want to join a company where your design decisions show up in the numbers - and where craft actually matters - Nivoda is your place. Our Mission The traditional diamond supply chain is opaque, slow, and inaccessible to anyone without deep industry connections. We're changing that. Nivoda's mission is to make the global gemstone market accessible to every business, regardless of size or location - giving a jeweller in Boston the same power as a trading house in Antwerp. Great design is central to that mission. We believe that how something works and how it feels are inseparable - and that the best product experiences create trust, reduce friction, and make complex things feel simple. ⭐️ The Growth Team You'll be embedded in the Growth pod - one of the highest-priority, highest-visibility squads at Nivoda. The pod owns the levers that compound: acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetisation across the entire customer lifecycle. It's a team where design decisions show up in the growth dashboard the next morning. You'll work closely with Product Managers and engineers in the squad, and be part of a wider design team that cares about systems thinking, shipping fast, and making things people actually love to use. About the Role As Senior Product Designer on the Growth pod, you'll own the design of some of the most important surfaces at Nivoda: the experiences that turn interest into revenue and keep customers coming back. From experiments that lift conversion to features that build lasting habits, your work will directly shape how the business grows. This is a role for a designer who's equally comfortable with a blank canvas and a complex system - someone who can go from a rough problem brief to a polished prototype fast, who cares about both pixels and patterns, and who sees collaboration with PMs and engineers as a creative multiplier, not a constraint. What would you be doing? Own end-to-end design for growth surfaces across the customer lifecycle - working closely with the Growth PM to identify friction, run design experiments, and improve conversion, retention, and revenue. Design growth loops and lifecycle experiences - referral mechanics, pricing and packaging surfaces, and features that compound usage across both sides of the marketplace. Balance multiple workstreams and know when to go deep on craft versus move fast and ship. Contribute to and maintain Nivoda's design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the pod and raising the bar for design coherence across the product. Run lightweight user research - interviews, usability tests, and session reviews - to ground design decisions in real user behaviour rather than assumption. Work directly with engineers to ensure designs ship accurately and at pace. You won't throw specs over the wall - you'll be in the build with them. Use data and experimentation to validate design decisions: review funnel analytics, collaborate on A/B test design, and translate results into design iteration. Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders - you can explain a decision in one sentence or a 10-minute presentation, depending on who's in the room. Bring an AI-informed perspective to your workflow - whether that's using AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping, or thinking about where AI features can reduce friction for users. Mentor more junior designers on the team and help build a culture of strong craft and feedback. What do we need from you? 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, high-fidelity UI craft, and measurable product impact. Proven experience designing for complex, data-dense or catalogue-heavy products - marketplace, e-commerce, search, or similar. Equally fluent in UX (flows, information architecture, usability) and UI (visual design, design systems, interaction detail). A track record of shipping fast in close collaboration with engineers - you're comfortable in a high-velocity environment and know how to make design decisions that don't block development. Experience running or contributing to user research, and translating qualitative insights into design decisions. Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and comfort working with or contributing to a component-based design system. Strong communication skills - you can tell the story of a design decision as clearly as you can craft the design itself. Based in or willing to commute to Boston regularly for in-person collaboration. ✨ Nice to have Experience designing growth surfaces - conversion, retention and lifecycle flows, referral loops, or pricing and monetisation - with a measurable impact on business metrics. Familiarity with A/B testing tools and a working understanding of how to design for experimentation. Experience using AI-assisted design tools (e.g. for rapid prototyping, content generation, or user testing). Background working at a B2B marketplace or two-sided platform. Exposure to motion design or micro-interaction design. Our culture and what we offer Nivoda is a place where smart, curious people do the best work of their careers. We're flat, direct, and genuinely collaborative - design isn't a service function here, it's a core part of how we build product. You'll have a real seat at the table and real ownership over the experiences you design. We care about craft. We care about shipping. And we believe the two aren't in conflict. If you're the kind of designer who gets frustrated when good work gets watered down, you'll feel at home here. Our current benefits Competitive salary: $130,000 – $150,000 USD Private health insurance Unlimited holiday allowance Opportunities for growth, learning, and career development The chance to join during an exponential expansion phase - and design experiences that reach buyers across 100+ countries Equal Opportunity Nivoda is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - even if you don't tick every box. If this role excites you, apply. Please submit your CV and portfolio link in English. Not quite the right role? If this isn't the perfect fit but you're excited by Nivoda, join our Talent Pool and we'll reach out when something that suits you opens up.

Job Description About Nivoda Nivoda is a fast-growing B2B marketplace that is transforming the global diamond and gemstone industry. We connect buyers and sellers across the world, processing $300M+ in annual transactions and unlocking a $350B industry opportunity. We move fast, think big, and care deeply about the businesses and people we serve. Our Mission The diamond trading industry has historically been fragmented, opaque, and inaccessible. Nivoda was founded to change that: to empower businesses of all sizes and locations to participate in a fair, efficient global marketplace. Every line of code, every integration, every automation we build brings us closer to that mission. About the Role We are looking for a Growth and Demand Gen Lead to own how Nivoda finds and wins new jewellers. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives in the channels and the numbers. You will run our paid, SEO, and account-based programs yourself, and you will be the person who works out which repeatable, scalable channels actually drive qualified leads, then builds them into an engine. We do demand gen a particular way. Rather than pushing people to a product page and hoping, we lead with genuine value: free tools, content, and resources that help jewellers run better businesses, and we let that earn the relationship. Your job is to build the acquisition machine around that model and prove, channel by channel, what works. You will start as an individual contributor with real ownership of the function, working alongside our paid, lifecycle, and GTM engineering talent. As the channels prove out and the work grows, there is a clear path to build and lead a team beneath you. What would you be doing? Own net-new customer acquisition: set the demand-gen strategy, then go and execute it yourself, hands-on, across paid and beyond. Run our paid channels day to day, Google and Meta to start. For now, the ad accounts are something you are in, not something you hand off. Find and build repeatable, scalable channels that drive qualified leads. The goal is a system, not a string of one-off campaigns. Grow our SEO and AEO (answer-engine) presence, so jewellers find us when they are looking for help, not only when we are paying to reach them. Design and run account-based programs aimed at the specific jewellers we most want as customers. Lean into our value-first model: point spend at free tools and content, like our Jeweller Business Health Check, rather than product pages, and build the funnel that turns that attention into signups. Work inside our attribution from day one. Partner with our data and GTM engineering leads so every channel is measurable and every dollar is accountable. Hand qualified leads off cleanly to the SDR team, and close the loop so you know which channels produce customers, not just clicks. Raise the bar on how rigorously the whole team tests and scales growth ideas, wherever those ideas come from. Report on what is working in plain terms, kill what is not, and reinvest in what is. What do we need from you? 5+ years in growth or demand gen, with a track record of building acquisition channels that scaled, not just managing a spend number. Deep, hands-on paid expertise. You can build, run, and optimise Google and Meta campaigns yourself, today. Real experience across more than one channel: paid plus some mix of SEO, ABM, lifecycle, or net-new experiments. You think in systems, repeatable and measurable and scalable, and you are suspicious of any win you cannot explain or repeat. Fluency with attribution and analytics. You start from the numbers and you can defend them. Comfort as a hands-on IC on a small team, building process where none exists, with the ambition to grow into leading a team. A bias for experiments. You ship, measure, learn, and move, rather than planning forever. Happy to use AI and modern tooling to move faster. Nice to have Experience acquiring small business owners, retailers, or a trade audience. A marketplace, self-serve, or product-led growth background. Hands-on with the tools in our stack: Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, and Mixpanel. Experience with a value-first or content-led acquisition model. Real SEO and AEO depth as search shifts toward AI-generated answers. Our culture and what we offer We're a high-growth company in an exponential expansion phase. We move fast, operate with low hierarchy, and give people real ownership from day one. If you want to work somewhere you can genuinely shape things: not just maintain them: Nivoda is the place. Our current benefits Flexible working hours and vibrant company culture Remote work Opportunities for growth and learning Unlimited holiday allowance Chance to join during our exponential expansion phase Equal Opportunity Nivoda is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Even if it seems you don't meet 100% of our musts, don't let that stop you from applying: we hire for potential and mindset, not just a checklist. Please submit your CV in English. Not quite the right role? If this role isn't for you but you're excited about Nivoda, join our Talent Pool and we'll reach out when something's a better fit: nivoda.com/talent-pool
