About the Role:The Kitchen Supervisor The Kitchen Supervisoris responsible forconsistent,safeand quality production output of edible products. The Kitchen Supervisor leads the team in managing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations and the highest levels of safety and cleanliness inside the kitchen area.The position offers a collaborative work environment with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, pet insurance, and other paid leaves of absence. Howyoullmake a difference: • Manages the kitchen work environment tooptimizeefficiency, accuracy, and quality of cannabis infused products to achieve the companys businessobjectivesefficiently, compliantly, and safely., • Executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen processes and equipment for our house of brands., • Drives innovation and continuous improvement to further enhance our house of brands., • Develops and maintainsall product specification documents, recipes,formulasand food safety plans., • Trains,developsand evaluates the skills of the kitchen staff to enable end-to-end production., • Executes all QA/QC and analytical testing for quality, consistencyand efficacy., • Auditsinventory on an ongoing basis to ensure full compliance., • Execute a cleaning and maintenance schedule for the kitchen and kitchen equipment as required by procedures and manufacturer specs; ensuring no disruption to production., • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, • Additionaltasks as assigned by your manager Skills to be Successful: Education and Experience: • Must be 21 years of age or older, • High School Diploma or equivalent Required, • Degree in Food Science Preferred, • Minimum of 3 years management experience within commercial kitchen or food production environment., • Minimum of 1 year experience producing candies, chocolatesand baked goods, • Experience with cannabis or infusions preferred Computers and Technology • Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook, • Proficiencywith inventory systems and office equipment Perks & Benefits: • Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid parental leave, • 401 (k), • Paid Time Off, • Short Term and Long-Term Disability, • Employee Assistance Program, • Employee life insurance and supplemental life, • Spouse and child life and AD&D, • Pet insurance, • FSA and HSA available, • *Based on eligibility.
