Job Description Our dynamic Law Office is seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our growing team. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, punctual and reliable. Must be BI-LINGUAL (Spanish/English) Key Responsibilities • Must be punctual and responsible, • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office, • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls, • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures), • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email, • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries, • Collect legal documents and meet with clients, • Audit client portfolios, • Organize and schedule appointments, • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms, • Develop and maintain a filing system, • Update and maintain office policies and procedures, • Maintain contact lists, • Audit, Scan and organize files, • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant, • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures, • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines, • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular), • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, • Attention to detail and problem solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task It is the policy of SSLAW to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify and/ or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by Federal, state Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
