Job Description Position: Night Auditor Reports To: Front Office Manager / Assistant General Manager Schedule: Overnight The Night Auditor provides a professional and courteous service to guests during the overnight shift while acting as the primary financial reconciler for the hotel's daily operations. The Night Auditor balances all front office revenue streams, closes the current business day, and ensures the property is secure and prepared for the morning transition. Essential Responsibilities Front Desk & Guest Services • Registration: Register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring all "Walk-In" and "Reservation" procedures follow brand standards., • Reservations: Confirm phone and online reservations; manage "No-Show" billings and cancellations according to hotel policy., • Guest Relations: Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints with a solution-oriented mindset. Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies during the overnight hours., • End-of-Day Processing: Close the current business day in the Property Management System (PMS) and initiate the rollover to the new date., • Revenue Balancing: Verify and balance all daily financial transactions, including room charges, taxes, and credit card settlements., • Payment Processing: Collect payments from departing guests and ensure all guest folios are accurate and up-to-date., • Property Patrol: Conduct periodic walk-throughs of public spaces and corridors to ensure the facility is secure., • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or hospitality accounting., • JD Experience: Proven ability to follow and execute detailed Job Description workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport with guests in a professional manner., • Organization: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail for financial data entry., • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)., • Must be able to work the overnight shift consistently, including weekends and holidays.
