The Host/Hostess is the main point of contact with guest interaction. Host/Hostess greet Guests upon arrival, inform Guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter Guest names into the computer/reservation system, show Guests to their table and bid Guests farewell as they leave. This position also includes making bookings and delivering a delightful yet efficient reservations service. As reservationists, you are meticulous at administration, ensuring that every detail of a customer's reservation has been accurately recorded following established procedures. Job DescriptionDriver, Mobile Health Unit New York, NY 10017 2+ Months Shift varies depending on events calendar- 3 to 4 days per week 4-8 hours day; Sunday- Saturday; must be flexible 4 days per week 32 hours Job Summary: The driver will operate and drive a Mobile Health Unit (MHU) van for the Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities (IHCD) Service to provide efficient and safe transportation and delivery of people, equipment and supplies to scheduled sites for events serving populations supported by the MHU and other client locations including regional sites. The driver will assist in outreach events by setting up events, greeting participants, providing basic information and assisting with participant flow. The driver may be responsible for completing other transportation and vehicle-related responsibilities as assigned. The driver may be responsible for parking or picking up vehicles from non-Client parking locations within or outside of Manhattan. The driver may be responsible for site-specific maintenance of the vehicle. This role offers an hourly rate between $17.25- $18.95; the annualized base is $31,395 to $34,489 per year. This role is OT eligible, in full compliance with the NYC Pay Transparency Act, with final placement based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Job Description Coordinator, Stadium Security Department: Stadium Operations Reports To: Manager, Security Systems and Business Continuity Job Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt Description: Built upon our storied legacy, the Yankees look to attract the best possible talent not just on the field but in the front office as well. It is our shared responsibility to maintain the first-class reputation associated with the franchise in all aspects of our business. The Coordinator, Stadium Security serves as the Yankees’ lead representative in the Yankee Stadium Command Center, which is the central entity for the 24/7 monitoring of all security systems information within the Stadium, as well as for security related communications/dispatch resulting from the analysis of this information. The Command Center monitors CCTV and access control systems. It also serves as a central point for documenting and recording security related incidents occurring throughout the Stadium. Notifications to event security, medical staff, engineers and other mission critical staff are made from the Command Center. The game-day Titan HST messaging program, management of the Dedrone drone detection software and social media monitoring are also performed in the Command Center. Primary Responsibilities: • Serve as the Yankees’ management liaison for Command Center operations. This includes monitoring the performance of the Command Center’s security systems, reporting any outages with the cameras, servers, workstations, card readers or alarms, and working with Command Center operators during real time incidents., • Oversee the review of video footage or access issues within the Stadium, successfully view and save required video footage, and maintain accurate and complete files relating to same., • Review security incident reports following each game/event to determine if there is applicable video surveillance to save to accompany these reports., • Provide daily checks of CCTV NVRs to ensure they are fully functional and recording as appropriate., • Serve as the primary lead in producing and programming Stadium ID badges and the back-up for the creation and issuance of Stadium keys., • During baseball games and other events, assist with credentialing functions, including issuance, distribution and tracking., • During installation of new security equipment or software upgrades, work with internal (IT) and external (security integrator) partners to insure successful installations., • Serve as liaison to electricians tasked with maintenance of the security system and communicate any issues to supervisor for resolution., • Help create and maintain documentation relating to Yankee Stadium’s SAFETY Act certification., • Additional special projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree preferred., • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the security industry, working with security technology., • Knowledge of IP-based security networks preferred., • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize quickly., • Ability to build and maintain rapport with public and private security personnel, municipal emergency services, colleagues and all event staff., • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Teams & other basic applications)., • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail., • Flexible work schedule (including nights, weekends and holidays, as required) and the ability to work in an outside stadium environment.
