Job DescriptionAs a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Truck Tech II is required to perform all duties of a level 1, in addition to perform basic to mid-level repair skills on at least 80% of all vehicle areas including hydraulic systems, engine and transmission accessories. Effective skills in welding, use of torch and A/C systems. Not including electronic or high-level diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle areas; also, not including internal component repairs of engine, transmissions, and gear boxes. Shifts 1. Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 am- 6:30 pm, 2. Tuesday - Saturday Graveyard Occasional overtime may be required as needed. Ensure that the documents requested comply with Company policy and that the document request package and/or executed document package are complete to minimize the risk of loss to the Company. Ensure the timely disposition and control of legal documentation, collateral and documentation records in a manner that complies with Company policy and minimizes the risk of loss to the company. Maintain the integrity of all information related to the documentation process for privacy, reporting and audit purposes. Additional responsibilities are to review loan document requests for completeness and accuracy to prevent costly revisions and negative customer impact. Assure that the correct types of documents are prepared for the type of loan approved and that the approval level complies with the credit authority matrix. The borrower/guarantor entity documents match the approved credit risk document to ensure that the legally binding loan documents are addressed to the proper borrower/guarantor. How You’ll Make an Impact The Hone Set-up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating honing machines to produce precision metal parts to exacting specifications. This role requires strong manufacturing skills, a thorough understanding of machine operations and controls, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement as part of a world-class manufacturing team. What you’ll be doing as a Hone Setup Operator: • Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location., • Set up, adjust, and operate honing machines to perform precision finishing operations on metal parts., • Lift, position, and secure parts in machine holding fixtures., • Move machine controls to feed tools into part, engage automatic feed, and monitor operation., • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, tool wear, or out-of-tolerance conditions; report discrepancies to lead or supervisor., • Change worn cutting tools and replace or adjust tooling as needed using appropriate hand tools., • Thoroughly inspect first-piece runs and verify part conformance using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges)., • Adjust cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut to achieve specified finishes and tolerances., • Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications., • Recognize and report production problems or nonconforming conditions to supervision., • Perform minor assembly operations as needed (fastening parts with nuts, bolts, and screws)., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow all prescribed safety regulations and company guidelines., • Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes and with minimal supervision., • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of machine shop operations, speeds, and feeds., • Ability to set up and operate machine tools safely and efficiently., • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges)., • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions., • Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail., • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain concentration for long periods., • Completion of vocational or college training in machining or manufacturing (certificate or equivalent)., • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to apply shop math to machining operations., • Good written and verbal communication skills., • Experience using Microsoft Office applications., • Familiarity with basic machine language and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
