Job Title: Assistant Group Home Manager Program: Group Homes location: Lakewood New Jersey Position Type: Full Time 40 Hours Salary: $44,720.00 Job Description/Summary Management in a team-oriented process of 10-15 staff and 3-7 consumers in a residential setting; possible oversight of more than one facility. Group Home Specialists are viewed as essential personnel in states of emergency. Responsibilities • Staff supervision and direction, with MICA Group Home Manager support and supervision., • Inter-agency coordination, partial care, OPD etc., • Assistant Manager will demonstrate proficiency in AMHR, WRAP and IMR., • Quality assurance., • Assist MICA Group Home Manager to ensure participation and completion of the Intake process, comprehensive service plan, discharge plan and any other behavioral modification plan., • Crisis intervention services (calling clinical on-call, police, emergency services)., • Residential support for staff during shift and after hours, with Senior Group Home Manager guidance, • Provides emergency on call coverage for residence, (for Level A homes – ensures 24-hour staff availability), including replacement of staff in an emergent situation., • Completes all monthly forms on ADP including but not limited to sanitation, safety, AED, Fire Drills, Fire Equipment, vehicle reports etc., • Reviews Fire Drill and Disaster Drill Forms for accuracy and completion, and ensures documentation meets DMHS regulations., • Ensures house cleanliness and keeps track of maintenance requirements., • Oversees staff involvement with consumer(s); ensures for safe therapeutic boundaries;, • Checks for timeliness of required staff paperwork and reports to MICA Group Home Manager (IRP, Monthly and weekly documentation), • Facilitates new staff’s department specific orientation., • Assistant Managers are responsible for staff scheduling at their assigned GH., • Assistant Mangers will inform MICA Group Home Manager of any med changes, new meds, discontinued meds, etc., • Must maintain required CPR, Handle With Care and first aid education/certification.
