This payer requirement must be completed within 24 hours of admission for most payers so that the Inpatient stay will be approved and covered. Pre-Service scheduling teams provide support to both patients and Ancillary Departments by responding to patient calls and accurately inputting into schedules to enable care as efficiently as possible.
