Position Description for Collections Associate : We are seeking a dedicated Collections Associate to join our team at a Law Firm in Lynbrook, NY. This full-time, in-person role focuses on high-volume outbound calls, resolving overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while consistently meeting collection targets. The role offers growth opportunities within a high-performing team. Qualifications for Collections Associate : • 1–2 years of AR or collections experience in a corporate, legal, or financial environment, with a solid understanding of billing and payment processes., • Strong communicator and negotiator, confident in high-volume outbound calls and handling sensitive financial information professionally., • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to recover outstanding balances and negotiate effective payment arrangements., • Maintain accurate records of all communications and payments, while reviewing aging reports and prioritising accounts daily., • Collaborate with billing, legal, and AR teams to resolve disputes and consistently meet or exceed collection targets.
