Our Lead Associate supports the Store Manager in creating a highly productive environment where guests receive exceptional service, employees feel supported, and the business thrives. You’ll greet every guest, guide them through floral and gift selections, and help create in-store arrangements - while also overseeing store operations, supporting and coaching team members, and ensuring that visual and service standards are consistently upheld. RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet and assist customers with a warm, helpful attitude, • Give guests through floral and gift selections with confidence and care, • Build customer relationships and follow up to ensure satisfaction, • Address customer concerns and resolve issues quickly and effectively, • Educate guests about flowers, plants, and product care, • Create and wrap flower arrangement in-store, • Enter orders accurately in the POS system and gather customer information, • Support phone orders and customer inquiries as needed, • Assist with merchandising projects, product rotation, and store resets, • Ensure retail displays remain clean, organized, and well-stocked, • Help train, coach, and support Retail Sales Associates in daily tasks and service standards, • Assist the store Manager with monthly schedules for sales associates, • Serves as Manager on Duty during assigned weekend rotations, including register drawer counting, • Ensure consistent communication among team members and attend monthly team development meetings, • Work collaboratively with sales and design teams to ensure smooth operations, • Maintain confidentiality of customer information, • Follow all company policies and maintain a professional appearance Requirements:, • Guest service mentality: sociable, approachable, and genuinely helpful, • Strong communication and listening skills, • Proven ability to lead, influence, and delegate, • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, • Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible in a fast-paced environment, • Able to stay calm and tactful during difficult customer interactions, • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative, • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, • Experience with care and maintenance of fresh floral arrangements, plants, orchids preferred, • Minimum 2-3 years of retail customer service experience; leadership experience preferred, • Gardening or “love of flowers” highly preferred, • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, • Smoke free workplace, • Must pass a drug test and background check
