Ideal Candidate Requirements: • Minimum of five years of experience in similar roles within a dealership or dealership group., • A track record of maximizing sales team profitability and market share., • The ability to inspire sales teams by setting individual and team performance benchmarks., • Expertise in managing and maintaining sales department budgets., • Strong negotiation, closing, and marketing skills that positively impact sales., • Management: 1 year (Required), • Automotive: 5 years (Required), • Competitive compensation plan, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Paid training, • Retirement plan, • Paid time off, • 401(k), • Ongoing professional development Recruiting & Selection: • Identify sources for sales staff recruitment., • Conduct interviews, pre-employment screenings, and reference checks., • Onboard new hires, set expectations, and provide necessary resources (office setup, voicemail, etc.)., • Lead ongoing training sessions, focusing on sales procedures, product knowledge, prospecting, and overcoming objections., • Meet or exceed volume, gross, and customer satisfaction targets based on budget forecasts., • Implement plans to achieve sales goals, ensuring proper guest follow-up and adherence to sales procedures., • Develop future leaders through job growth and performance management., • Provide feedback and counseling to sales staff, maintaining a positive working relationship across departments., • Ensure inventory is well-organized and presentable, with regular lot reorganization., • Manage vehicle demos, inventory cleanliness, and ad unit readiness.
