Job Description About the Role Hamilton-Madison House (HMH) is the leading provider of behavioral health services for New York City’s Asian community and the second largest provider in the country. HMH serves nearly 1,000 community members through a comprehensive program model that understands and incorporates the strengths of individual cultures and addresses the stigma related to mental illness. Services range from psychological services; personalized recovery-oriented services for individuals with mental illness; recovery programming for addiction in six languages and seven dialects; supportive housing for people with mental health issues; and training and internship opportunities for graduate students in social work, mental health counseling, and psychology. Title: Staff Psychologist/Clinician - Alcohol and Other Drugs Department: Counseling Center Reports To: Director Counseling Services Position Type: Staff Position Summary: The Staff Psychologist/Clinician - Coordinator of Alcohol, Other Drug, and Addiction Services serves as the primary clinical provider for alcohol and other drug (AOD) assessment, treatment, and prevention services within the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (C-CAPS). This role combines clinical expertise with program coordination and leadership in addressing substance use and behavioral addictions on campus. The clinician is responsible for delivering culturally informed, responsive mental health services to students, with a specialized focus on substance use and addictive behaviors. In addition, the coordinator leads prevention, education and outreach efforts in collaboration with campus partners, promotes harm reduction strategies, and contributes to the development of policies that support student mental health and well-being. Beyond direct clinical care, this position plays a key role in community-level mental health programming and campus-wide wellness initiatives. The clinician also collaborates closely with university faculty, staff, and administrators to provide consultation and outreach that align with the mission of C-CAPS and the broader goals of the university. The Staff Psychologist/Clinician Coordinator of Alcohol, Other Drug, and Addiction Services may also provide clinical supervision to licensed mental health professionals within C-CAPS. This includes clinical oversight for staff who engage in direct student support and may encounter students in distress. The supervision is limited to clinical supervision and does not extend to programmatic or administrative responsibilities of other offices. Competitive candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the provision of mental health services to a diverse population and culturally responsive treatment, and experience in clinical and outreach services related to addictions with diverse client populations. Job Description Job Overview of Case Worker The case manager is responsible for the coordination of case management services for children (and their families) that attend the Orchard School. The case manager is primarily responsible for the case management of children who are here through DSS contracts, but will also serve children in the residential program and day program who are not connected with DSS. Job Description Title: WDAY Bootcamper Reports To: WDAY Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: Full-time Supervisory Responsibility: Not Applicable Purpose of the Role: The WDAY Bootcamper supports workforce development initiatives by assisting with case management, participant engagement, and administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Support case managers with participant tracking and documentation, • Maintain accurate records and data entry, • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and external partners, • Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and program coordination, • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards, • Meet attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations Working Relationships: Internal: Client Care Supervisor, Program Director, other CCC’s External: Dept. of Social Services, Mental Health Providers, Primary Care Physicians, Probation Officers, Legal Services, District Attorney’s Office, etc. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with some flexibility around client needs. Physical Environment: o Traditional office environment. o Must be comfortable attending appointments at various agencies, facilities and client’s homes. Physical Demands: Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and carry up to 20 lbs. Mental and Visual Demands: Flow of work and nature of duties involve normal coordination of mind and eyes much of the time. o Must be able to interact with people having mental health issues, periods of instability (i.e. lack of shelter, food, clothing or support), recently released from an institution (i.e. hospital, prison), limited comprehension and/or ability to manage through complex scenarios Qualifications for this Role: · Proven ability to empathize with the clients we serve. · Tenacity and passion for this work with the ability to balance objectivity with empathy. · Computer literacy required. · Valid Driver License required and a driving record that will permit the use of an Agency vehicle to transport clients to appointments or other activities as needed. · Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) · High school diploma accepted with experience. · Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Compensation Range: $18.00 - $22.00 (hourly)
