Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Provides input and advice regarding the programs’ primary and preventative health care components. · Provides individual consultation to consumers on heath-related matters and to program staff regarding residents’ specific medical problems, concerns or needs. · Assesses consumers and makes referrals as necessary. · Conducts a weekly review of medication administration records to ensure accuracy and compliance; also conducts a monthly review of a sample of resident health care records to ensure that appropriate follow-up care is received. · Participates in monthly clinical case conference meetings. · Creates an annual calendar of training workshops for both residents and staff and conducts the workshops. Training topics should include, but are not limited to, the following topics: Vital Signs; Diabetes Education; General Nutrition; Diet, Exercise and Weight Loss; Workplace Safety; and General Health and Wellness. · Participates in quarterly CQI Committee meetings. · Cooperates with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and Office of Licensing during all investigations. · Other duties as assigned. • In-house edging and finishing of lenses (single vision, progressive, polycarbonate, high-index, etc.), • Mounting lenses into a variety of frame types (plastic, metal, rimless, drill mounts), • Frame adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting, • Accurate optical measurements (PDs, seg heights, OC heights), • Quality control of edged and lab-finished eyewear, • Assist patients with frame and lens selection as needed, • Communicate with labs regarding lens orders and remakes, • Maintain and care for edging and optical equipment

Cure Staffing is hiring experienced New York State RNs to complete UAS assessments for medically fragile and vulnerable adults and children across all 5 boroughs. You are not expected to cover all boroughs—we are building a dedicated 12‑RN team for this program and will assign you to cases near your home area whenever possible.​ You will combine flexible field work and virtual assessments to evaluate members’ daily living abilities and help determine the right level of home care services.
