Responsibilities: • Conduct daily rounds, collaborating with physicians and specialists, • Provide comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, • Perform necessary procedures within the scope of practice, with physician support as needed, • Document patient progress and care in EPIC EMR, • Communicate effectively with patients and families about care plans, • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Pennsylvania, • Hospitalist or inpatient care experience preferred, • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, • Knowledge of EPIC EMR is a plus, • Competitive salary, • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid time off (PTO), • CME allowance and support, • Employee wellness programs Physical Demands: This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
