POSITION SUMMARY The Partnerships and Engagement Associate serves as a critical member of the Partnerships team, supporting both the operational execution and strategic growth of Corporate Council, partnerships, and engagement initiatives. This role is designed to bridge operational execution and partnership development, responsible for managing day-to-day partnership operations while contributing to revenue-generating activities, partner engagement, and program expansion. The role will coordinate high-volume operational workflows including contracts, communications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database management, and focus group logistics including vetting and securing participants while also supporting partner prospecting, relationship management, and sponsorship development aligned with AANP’s mission and growth strategy. WHERE YOU WILL WORK This position can be remote, hybrid, or in office. Our office locations are Austin, Texas National Headquarters and Washington D.C. Government Affairs (Arlington, Virginia). ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES You are expected to perform the following essential responsibilities of the position with reasonable accommodation. Partnership & Corporate Council Operations • Serves as an external-facing contact for a portfolio of corporate sponsors throughout the sponsorship lifecycle., • Manages daily operations of Corporate Council and Partnerships, including intake, vetting, tracking, and coordination of partner activities., • Maintains centralized systems for contracts, Letters of Agreement and Letters of Request, invoicing, reimbursements, and payment tracking across all partnership activities., • Manages shared inboxes (Corporate Council, Partnerships, NP Experts), ensuring timely and professional communication., • Coordinates logistics for focus groups and engagement initiatives, including recruitment, scheduling, communications, and documentation., • Manages participant onboarding processes, including forms, disclosures, and communications., • Serves as liaison between internal teams, partners, and Nurse Practitioner (NP) participants to ensure seamless execution., • Drafts and manages recurring communications related to partnerships, Corporate Council, and engagement opportunities., • Coordinates cross-departmental communications to support partnership deliverables and member engagement., • Ensures website is updated and accurately represents partnership programs and opportunities., • Contributes to prospecting efforts by vetting incoming partnership and/or Corporate Council inquiries and identifying alignment with AANP priorities., • Collaborates on the creation and development of sponsorship proposals, benefit packages, and renewal documentation using a creative out the box approach; tracks deliverables and ensures timely fulfillment of all sponsor commitments., • Performs Corporate Council recruitment, retention, renewals, and engagement activities., • Compiles reports, tracks key metrics, and supports development of presentations for leadership and stakeholders., • Supports the development and maintenance of a corporate sponsorship pipeline using CRM tools., • Maintains documentation and reporting related to partnership performance and engagement outcomes., • Identifies process improvements and supports implementation of operational efficiencies., • Supports planning and execution of AANP conferences, Corporate Council events, and engagement activities with the Conference and Communications & Marketing teams to ensure sponsor visibility and recognition are executed accurately across all event materials and digital channels., • Serves as an ambassador for AANP Partnerships & Engagement initiatives at events and meetings., • Travels as needed to support conferences and events, primarily AANP’s Health Policy Conference and AANP’s National Conference (up to 5%). QUALIFICATIONS Education Required: • Bachelor’s degree required. Required: • Three (3) or more years of experience in partnerships, project coordination, business development, or a related field., • Experience working in a professional association, healthcare, or nonprofit environment preferred., • Experience supporting partnerships, sponsorships, or revenue-generating programs. Required: • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent communication skills in all areas with the ability to perform all communications with internal and external stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner., • Strong relationship building and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and fulfill partner benefits and develop joint initiatives with allied organizations., • Excellent skills in preparing communications, reports, and presentations., • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated team player., • Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records and reporting., • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems / Association Management System (AMS) (Salesforce preferred)., • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate situations, identify problems and/or process improvements, and propose practical solutions., • Ability to review and track partnership agreements, fulfillment, checklists, and reporting requirements with a high degree of accuracy., • Ability to travel to conferences or events, as assigned (up to 5% travel).
