Job Description Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – Per Diem Job Type: Per Diem Position Summary: The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) provides nutrition services and professional coverage to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance. The RDN may provide coverage for routine needs or serve as professional backup as required. Compensation & Expenses: • Guaranteed pay for one (1) scheduled day per week, whether coverage is fully utilized or not, • Company‐paid travel expenses, including:, • Mileage and Travel reimbursement in accordance with company policy, • Lodging accommodations when overnight stay is required Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide nutrition assessments, care planning, and documentation as needed, • Serve as RDN coverage during the scheduled day to meet facility and regulatory requirements, • Review patient charts and nutrition documentation, • Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team, • Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations, • Complete documentation accurately and within required timeframes, • Provide coverage support during scheduled absences or fluctuations in census as requested Schedule: • Coverage as needed during normal business hours unless otherwise arranged Qualifications: • Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential, • Active state license, if applicable, • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience (preferred), • Ability to work independently and reliably provide coverage, • Strong communication and organizational skills, • Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the work setting Physical & Work Requirements: • Ability to work in a clinical or facility‐based environment, • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday as needed Additional Information: • This position is intended for scheduled coverage only, • Not eligible for benefits unless otherwise specified, • Must maintain active credentials and licensure throughout employment
