Tulare County - Fresno CA Part Time Not Specified $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly 2:00PM - 6:00PM Education Cities served: Alpaugh Dinuba Ducor Earlimart Farmersville Porterville Richgrove Saucelito Seville Strathmore Terra Bella Traver Tulare Visalia Waukena Woodlake Woodville Hourly Pay Range per District: • Alpaugh Unified School District - $20.00, • Alta Vista Elementary School District - $20.00, • Burton School District - $20.00, • Dinuba Unified School District - $20.00, • Ducor Union Elementary School District - $20.00, • Earlimart School District- $20.00, • Farmersville Unified School District- $20.00, • Hope Elementary School District- $20.00, • Pleasant View Elementary School District- $20.00, • Porterville Unified School District - $20.00, • Richgrove School District- $20.00, • Saucelito Elementary School District- $20.00, • Stone Corral Elementary School District - $20.00, • Tulare City School District - $20.00, • Terra Bella Union Elementary School District- $20.00, • Visalia Unified School District - $20.00, • Waukena Joint Union Elementary School- $20.00, • Woodlake Unified School District- $20.00, • Woodville Union School District- $20.00 Monitor Student Learning in an After School Program Environment • Monitor and mentor student learning activities daily., • Develop lesson plans and establish clear objectives for each day., • Submit lesson plans to Teaching Fellows ensuring target standards are met., • Provide individual and group tutoring., • Prepare reports to track student progress and accomplishments., • Enforce behavioral rules and procedures to maintain order., • Observe and evaluate student performance and behavior., • Foster good communication with fellow tutors teachers and with the California Teaching Fellows Foundation., • Collaborate with other tutors on lesson planning and program goals., • Ensure student safety and supervise all of their activities., • Follow emergency procedures set forth by Teaching Fellows and/or school districts., • Attend monthly staff meetings (Teaching Fellow Academies) once a month and training as scheduled, • Offer opinions and suggestions on program decisions., • 18 years old or older, • Have obtained a high school diploma or GED equivalent, • Authorization to work in the United States, • Completion of 48 college units or passage of an approved exam if applicable to meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements., • Proficiency in the English language including spelling grammar and composition; ability to speak multiple languages is recognized as beneficial but not required., • General understanding of educational standards and the public school system., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to lead and motivate others., • Excellent organization and time management., • High ethical standards and cultural sensitivity.
