In partnership with forward-thinking providers across the country, we are making breast cancer screening more convenient for women. Convenience is critical to ensure that most women have time to remain compliant with their breast care. This is achieved by offering mammography and breast care within the patient's primary care or OB/GYN practice and scheduling appointments in coordination with an annual exam, compliance is easier to accomplish. Role Summary: Join our team as a Mammography Technologist and play a vital role in empowering early detection and better outcomes for patients. You’ll deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and compassion, ensuring every patient feels informed and cared for. Responsibilities and Duties · Specialize in producing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection. · Prepare patients for mammographic procedures and ensure comfort throughout the process. · Explain procedures clearly to reduce patient anxiety and gain cooperation. · Position patients and adjust mammography equipment to obtain optimal images following established protocols. · Apply radiation safety practices, including patient shielding and beam restriction techniques. · Review and evaluate digital images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality. · Perform and document all required quality assurance (QA) tests to comply with MQSA, ACR, and state regulations. · Ensure mammography equipment is properly maintained and functioning at all times. · Maintain patient confidentiality and complete necessary documentation and data entry accurately. · Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
