Job Description Job Title: In-Process Inspector Job Description Seeking an experienced In-Process Inspector for our 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday. This role may occasionally require weekend work on Saturdays, typically for 5-6 hours. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate should possess current or previous IPC 610 certification. Pay will be based on experience and typically between $18-$22 an hour (can be higher for right experience). Responsibilities • Perform visual inspections of PCB bare boards after completion of all processes according to standard operating procedures., • Review and analyze customer drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and requirements to ensure compliance with specifications., • Conduct visual inspections of printed circuit boards and cable assemblies using magnification equipment and complete an inspection checklist., • Verify the calibration date for any measurement device used for inspection., • Verify assembly traveler quantity count and notify the team lead of any issues., • Perform a first article inspection (FAI) on all first-time build assemblies and generate AS9102 reports., • Identify and document product defects, generate NCR forms, and notify the team lead., • Generate and complete a Certificate of Compliance (C of C)., • Minimum of 2 years of assembly inspection experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing and assembly industry., • Certification in J-STD, NASA-STD, and/or IPC-610 (current or previous)., • Experience with blueprints, quality inspection, visual inspection, and assembly equipment., • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and microscopes., • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English., • Knowledge of Military and IPC J standards., • Ability to interpret customer drawings, requirements, SOPs, and work instructions.
