Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description This role supports warehouse operations by receiving goods, processing receipts, labeling and storing products, and preparing daily shipments using carrier systems. The position also involves cycle counting, material handling, and basic assembly work related to wire harnesses and electronic subassemblies, while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work area. Responsibilities • Receive incoming goods and accurately process receipts in the M2M system., • Label products and place them into the correct locations within the warehouse., • Pick and process daily shipments using UPS and FedEx systems., • Package and label products securely and accurately for shipment., • Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records., • Follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedules provided by the Production Lead., • Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, and notes on the Bill of Materials (BOM) where available., • Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses according to specifications., • Assemble selected electronic subassemblies to install harnesses as required., • Handle materials safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and equipment, including RF scanners for picking and packing., • Determine job order requirements based on Production priorities and complete tasks in the correct sequence., • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, room, or station at all times., • Ensure that efficiency requirements and quality standards are consistently met., • Follow all safety requirements and comply with safety policies and procedures during daily operations. Essential Skills • Experience with picking, packing, and order picking in a warehouse environment., • Hands-on material handling experience, including use of RF scanners for picking and packing., • Demonstrated cycle counting experience to support accurate inventory control., • Ability to use UPS and FedEx shipping systems to process outbound shipments., • Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG) and their application in wire harness fabrication., • Knowledge of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness assembly., • Ability to read and interpret Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) notes., • Proficiency using hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses., • Capability to assemble basic electronics subassemblies for harness installation., • Strong attention to detail to ensure correct labeling, packaging, and documentation., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work assignments, and production schedules., • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and following all safety policies. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working with M2M or similar warehouse management or ERP systems., • Experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or production environment., • Comfort working in a structured production setting with defined efficiency and quality targets., • Ability to prioritize tasks based on production priorities and changing job order requirements., • Strong organizational skills to maintain a neat and efficient work area., • Willingness to support both warehouse operations and light assembly tasks as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
