American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Livingston, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVOR, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 04/20/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 20, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) of a hospital setting, • Performs advanced cardiovascular procedures including TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections, • Charting via Epic EMR, • Day shift schedule: 3x12.5-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, • No regularly scheduled weekend shifts; on-call weekend requirements apply, • On-call required 2x per month, weekends only, with available call shifts of 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, • May be required to float to the Main OR after 2:30 PM, • 13-week contractRequirements, • Active NJ or Compact RN license required, • Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS, • ACLS preferred, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, • Strong circulator experience required in a CVOR setting, • Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections, • SSN and date of birth required for consideration, • Two current professional references required for considerationAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Local candidates are accepted, • Any requested time off or schedule accommodations must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended, • Scrubs are provided by the facility With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
