PA - Licensed Mental Health Therapist - LCSW/LPC/LMFT, Hybrid Position\n Tired. Burned Out. Exhausted? Maybe the problem isn't you, it's the way the job is designed. \n Are you looking for a therapist job that is more sustainable—and actually makes room for what you're passionate about? \n At Mental Health Specialists LLC, we're building something different. \n We believe therapists shouldn't have to repeatedly leave jobs every couple years because the only way to make the work sustainable is to walk away from it. \n We want to build a place where you can say: “This is a job I can actually survive—and maybe even thrive in.” Bring Your Whole Brain to Work.\n We are especially interested in creating sustainable employment opportunities for therapists who are neuro-spicy, neurodivergent, highly creative, or simply know that traditional 9–5 structures don't bring out their best work. \n We don't believe everyone needs to work the same way. \n We want to learn about your specific neurotype, your energy patterns, your interests, your strengths, and the conditions in which you do your best work—so we can build a job that works with you rather than constantly asking you to work against yourself. \n Why shouldn't you be able to share your expertise during the moments when you have the energy, spoons, creativity, and desire to do so? \n This is a clinical position and also an opportunity for you to create content based on your special interests and receive compensation for doing so. Position Highlights \n COMPENSATION SNAPSHOT \n Estimated Annual Gross Compensation — Base Rate / No Added Benefits \n\n • Part-Time: ~$53,705 based on an average of 18 billable hours/week for 44 weeks + Paid Sick Time\n, • Full-Time: ~$72,220 based on an average of 25 billable hours/week for 44 weeks + Paid Sick Time\n\n Estimates vary based on time off, caseload, and other factors. \n Base Compensation: \n\n • $60/hour individual therapy\n, • Paid Sick Time\n, • No-show compensation\n, • $20/hour paid administrative time\n\n Flexible Benefits: Choose the benefits that best fit your needs. Depending on selections, the base rate may adjust within the $58–$60/hour range. This approach helps us minimize unnecessary overhead and direct more resources toward employees and clients. \n Benefit options include: Retirement Benefits, Health Reimbursement Account, and Health & Wellness Benefits. \n \n Job Overview \n Mental Health Specialists LLC is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our hybrid practice in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA, as a W-2 employee. You will begin part-time, with the option to remain PT or transition to FT. \n This role is ideal for a licensed therapist who is passionate about specialized care and interested in building a niche clientele. We believe clients deserve access to therapists with unique expertise—whether in trauma, neurodivergence, or other specialty areas. \n We aim to build a network and community through our work as therapists where people can become more embodied, present, compassionate, and fully engaged in their lives, regardless of their feelings or circumstances. We see one of the wounds in society that we are trying to address as disembodiment and dissociation—people becoming disconnected from themselves, others, and their communities rather than living from a place of presence and compassion. Our work seeks to support people in becoming more embodied and fully engaged in their lives in ways that alleviate suffering. \n Our mission is to create a supportive community where clinicians thrive professionally and clients receive high-quality, specialized mental health care. We value creativity, accountability, collaboration, and the freedom for therapists to bring their own expertise and interests to their work. \n We are looking for a mature and accountable clinician who is receptive to constructive feedback, able to communicate openly, and interested in partnering with us to grow this vision together. \n \n About Mental Health Specialists LLC \n Mental Health Specialists LLC is a hybrid group therapy practice focused on making specialized mental health treatment easier to find and matching clients with therapists whose training and expertise fit their needs.
