Enjoy coastal living in Chesapeake, minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk, while making a difference in patient care.\n \n\nCardiac Cath Lab Tech Job Details\n\n • Location: Chesapeake, VA 23320 (Coastal Virginia healthcare jobs)\n, • Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)\n, • Start Date: January 5, 2026\n, • End Date: April 6, 2026\n, • Shift: Day shifts; 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour (07:00 - 19:00)\n, • Hours per Week: 40\n, • Call: Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call (approx. 12 days/month)\n, • Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2670 - $2740\n\n\nQualifications for CT / Rad Tech Jobs\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required\n, • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program\n, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n, • Current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES certification required\n, • Virginia or compact state license required at time of application\n, • No prior license or background hits (facility will not consider any history of hits)\n, • Ability to pass facility fit testing (no PAPR accommodation)\n, • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n, • Note: ARRT certification holders will not be considered\n\n\nCardiac Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities\n\n, • Perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab\n, • Deliver clinical support to cardiovascular departments, including Electrophysiology, Cath, and Cath Holding\n, • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures\n, • Assist physicians and the healthcare team during cardiac procedures\n, • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all procedures\n, • Participate in rotating call schedule, including weekends and holidays\n We believe in empowering your career.
