Audiovisual Lead Technician Atlanta, GA FULL-TIME | HYBRID POSITION We are seeking an Audio Visual Lead Technician to join one of the most well-respected audiovisual integrators in the industry, known for its outstanding reputation and market leadership. The Lead Technician will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, including setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting Audio/Video/Control systems and related equipment to deliver impactful experiences that help clients impress their audiences. Experience with FOH PA systems, large-scale LED installations, and production video is highly desirable. Essential Responsibilities • Mentor and coach technicians., • Review and understand all drawings, schedules, and documentation., • Verify that all drawings, codes, site photos, and job descriptions are complete and accessible., • Assemble and test equipment racks according to the build schedule., • Ensure equipment is programmed, configured, and tested prior to onsite installation., • Confirm all cables, connectors, hardware, and tools required to complete the project are available., • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with appropriate tools, ladders, and safety equipment., • Inventory and deliver all equipment to the job site., • Conduct a walkthrough of the site with the Project Manager to review all installation details., • Verify working times and access to the workspace., • Install all equipment according to documentation and industry standards., • Perform minor DSP changes and load control code as necessary., • Ensure the job is completed safely and meets quality standards for a fully functional system., • Update mission progress in project management tools (e.g., Adobe Construction Cloud, Zoho Projects) daily., • Verify all equipment is connected according to the drawings., • If drawings are incorrect, mark necessary changes accordingly in PlanGrid., • Label all wires accurately per the documentation., • Ensure the job site is clean and organized upon completion., • Collaborate with the Field Engineer to perform and document system commissioning., • Submit all changes to engineering for as-built drawings. Requirements • CTS-I or BICSI Technician Certification, • Experience setting up and loading code into Control Systems (Q-SYS, Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.), • Experience setting up and loading code into DSPs (Q-SYS, Biamp, etc.), • Strong IP networking knowledge, • Proficient in AV system troubleshooting, • Ability to terminate fiber, • Install and configure interactive displays, • Wireless microphone frequency coordination experience, • Video wall setup and configuration experience, • Willingness to work occasional after-hours shifts and/or travel as required
