Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in West Allis, Wisconsin. • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 06/22/2026, • Duration: 12 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - ER; Additional Notes from VMS= W Allis - ED Job Details: • Work in a 20-bed emergency department with 8 overflow beds and 4 CA chairs, • Handle 100-200 patients per day on average, • Patient ratios: 1:3-4 during days, 1:4-5 during nights, • Treat patients from neonates to geriatric (10%-15% pediatrics), • Manage cases including chest pain, dizziness, syncope, strokes, sepsis, orthopedic injuries, respiratory distress/failure, and STEMI, • Provide behavioral health medical clearance, • Must have 1 year ED experience within the past year, prefer additional 2-5 years nursing experience, • First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years ED experience, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, • Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI/MOAB, CEN, • Must demonstrate strong IV skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation/monitoring, foley and NGT placement/management, • Knowledge required in STEMI/CVA/Sepsis treatments and medication titration, • Experience with EPIC EMR required within the last 2 years, • Work with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing, • One shift orientation provided with preceptor, • Professional scrubs required (any color except camo, denim, or hoodies), • Float as needed based on facility requirements, • Support available 24/7 including RT, Hospitalist/PA, phlebotomy assistance, and charge nurse coverage Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 277 hospital beds and serves as a Level IV Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center designation. The emergency department provides advanced emergency care with telemetry monitoring capabilities both at bedside and nurses' stations. The facility offers extensive support services including 24/7 respiratory therapy, hospitalist/PA coverage, phlebotomy assistance, and specialized teams for patient care coordination.
