Job DescriptionContract Real Estate Attorney (Lender-Side) Full-Time W2 Contract | Fully Remote (Eastern Time Zone) LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an Am Law-ranked law firm to identify an experienced Contract Real Estate Attorney to support ongoing, high-volume lender-side loan review work. This is a full-time W2, fully remote role, with work aligned to Eastern Time Zone business hours. The practice group is based in Miami, Florida. Attorneys primarily focus on systematic loan document review, compliance verification, and issue identification to ensure that loan files meet lender, legal, and regulatory standards before and after closing. You'll work independently in a remote environment while managing strict turnaround times and a consistent flow of commercial loan matters. Typical Responsibilities, • Conduct high-volume reviews of commercial loan documentation to confirm accuracy, completeness, and enforceability, • Review and standardize core loan documents, including promissory notes, mortgages or deeds of trust, guaranties, security agreements, and related closing documents, • Perform title and survey review to identify liens, encumbrances, title defects, priority issues, and coverage concerns, • Review borrower organizational and authority documents to confirm structure, authorization, and good standing, • Ensure loan files comply with lender instructions, closing conditions, and applicable state and federal lending regulations, • Identify policy exceptions, documentation gaps, and risk issues, and provide clear, practical guidance to resolve them, • Assist with post-closing reviews and remediation efforts, including curing missing signatures, recording issues, or other documentation defects, • Review UCC filings and security interests, including Article 9 considerations related to perfection and priority, • Support a high-volume loan review workflow with strict deadlines and standardized processes Minimum Qualifications, • Active attorney license in good standing in one of the following jurisdictions: FL (most preferred), GA, PA, MA, NY, TX, CO, CA, DE, IL, VA, or DC will be considered, • Must currently reside and complete work in one of the jurisdictions listed above, • 3+ years of lender-side commercial real estate or real estate finance experience, • Resume must clearly demonstrate experience performing high-volume lender-side loan review, including document review, title and survey analysis, UCC review, and transactional or post-closing support, • Prior Big Law or large law firm experience is strongly preferred, • Excellent legal writing, issue-spotting, analytical, and risk assessment skills with exceptional attention to detail and proactive communications, • High level of technical proficiency with document management systems and remote workflows, • Proven ability to manage deadlines meticulously while working independently in a fully remote environment Additional Details, • Employment Type: Full-time W2 contract, • Pay Rate: $50.00 to $85.00 per hour, depending on experience, • Duration: Long-term / indefinite, based on continued workflow & performance alignment, • Schedule: Eastern Time Zone business hours, • No concurrent legal work permitted, • Extensive conflicts review, references, and a background check required before start, • Candidates should be available to begin as early as one week of accepting an offer, • No extended planned time off during the first 90 days while ramping up and establishing workflows This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lender-side real estate attorney with a strong loan review background who is ready to contribute immediately in a stable, long-term, fully remote contract role. #FloridaAttorney #GeorgiaAttorneys #RealEstateAttorneyJobs #ContractAttorney #RemoteLegalJobs #LoanReview #CommercialRealEstate #LenderSide #BankingLaw #RealEstateFinance #UCC #DueDiligence #PostClosing #RiskMitigation #LHH #LetsChatSoon #FLJobs #GAJobs #AmLaw Pay Details: $50.00 to $85.00 per hour Search managed by: Holly Hilderhoff Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
