Job Summary: Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations and Strategic Support Specialist for the Future Training Directorate (FTD). Responsibilities include, but not limited to assist with DoW and Army projects planning, programming, budgeting, and execution. Advises on performing strategic planning, POM and budget formulation under Government direction with federal funds execution in multiple appropriations. Helps to organize, analyze and consolidate financial data for program acquisition planning, reviews, and reporting. Aids tracking historical budgeting data. Reviews and helps building portfolio briefs and supporting portfolio reviews with senior leadership. Advises based of their experience with Congressional Add Funding and Language. Resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership using "what if" drills, briefings, issue papers, resource reallocation, analysis of alternatives, etc. Perform research and work with Government supervision to develop supporting products used for defending the budget and spend plans to internal/external. Key Responsibilities: • Build Congressional briefings for HASC and SASC presentation, • Assist Integration and PAO in Strategic Messaging, • Travel with and advice the FTD Director at events to include AUSA, I/ITSEC, and Science and Technology conferences., • Engage with industry leaders on their current capabilities., • Assist as needed with the TIF and shaping event packages., • Assist and design FTD technology demonstrations at events for Industry, Stakeholders, and Congress or other high viability events as needed., • Tasking Management, • Weekly SITREP Creation, • Meeting Facilitation, • Monthly Workgroup Facilitation, • Weekly Director's Update compilation, • Effectively taking and maintaining notes for all meetings., • Weekly Closeout submission (LRC, Director's Update, Tasking's, Troops-to-Tasks), • Calendars & Schedules Management (Internal FTD} and External Synchronization (CPE ST3 & CAC-T}, • Documentation Compiling and Editing Correspondence / briefings / EXSUMs Editing and Management (AR REG 25-50 Compliance)Build, • Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or related fields., • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and operational modeling., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools., • Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels., • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment., • Experience in briefing, preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management is required. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field., • Experience working in a DoD or government environment., • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools., • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
